Note 1 to entry: If the magnetic field is parallel to the surface of the sample, surface superconductivity appears within a range of a magnetic field strength from Hc2 to Hc3 = 1,695 Hc2 for type II superconductors and from Hc to Hc3 = 2,40 Hc for type I superconductors.
